Got the 700cc kit 10 to 1 with a stock 750 cam, header, pods, Dyna, coils etc running vg and am wondering if I should go with a step cooler plugs...... N-3 Champion or a NGK 8 instead of the 7. Also forgot about the opening them up to .037 or so on the gap too. You guys like this idea too ?
I do ride it a little easier than most and in cooler temps 65 to 85 but I do often feel the need for speed.
What you guys think? Thanks.

Nope just use the stock ones. I have a 78 KZ650 modded with a 720cc kit, GPz750 cams, 4 into 1 pipe and pod filters, Dyna S ignition and Dyna green coils. Been using the stock plugs for 30 years now with no issues. I have tried cooler and hotter plugs over the years but always went back to the stock heat range.

Would follow factory spark plug recommendations as to heat range and gap.
FSM usually includes an explanation, such as the following example --

Ok thanks guys I'll stick with normal and .032 on the gap, and Baldy from day one I've loved your 650 was terrible news about the wreck.
