Just curious about cams was created by drummerjoe10
Hey everybody, been a little while, Ive come up with another question about the ol csr, ive built loads and loads of race/drag cars and engines for them along with tons of old hot rods and when we wanted a lope we always change the cam, common sense mechanics. what im wondering is (since im new to some of the bike engine workings, though i assume most of its the same principal) if and where i can get a cam to give my 750 csr a little more torque on the low end and a good lope, not to sound like a harley (not a big harley fan lol) but just to give it a little more rumble  or is it more trouble than its worth? thanks for any help

Joe

If your bike is a twin, the common trick is to use the bigger exhaust cam on the intake side.
Check out kz400.com's forum for more info.
From there you could slot your cam sprockets and degree the cams.
On my KZ1000st I like 102° intake/108° exhaust,stock is 110° for both.
