So I recently picked up a 1978 KZ1000-A2. Bought it non-running off a guy and was assured it rode and shifted, etc.
Got the bike running, just needed plugs and battery. Clutch cable was seized, so I bought a new one and went to install it.
Upon inspection, the pushrod actuator doesn't make contact with the pushrod. Like not even close, even after adjusting the adjustment screw.
I wonder if the bearing between the pushrod and the clutch pusher somehow disappeared. I did have the pushrod pulled out of the engine when I replaced the sprocket. Can the bearing come out the left side of the engine case?
Ideas?
