Stator Cover

Hey guys, I am back again cause I am stuck. I was wondering if anyone knows where I can get an aftermarket stator cover for a 1982 KZ 1100A Shaft . I was looking one on e-bay and the pickings are slim and they look like shit! I have a crack in mine and need to replace. Any help would be appreciated.

I wouldn't do it.The best-most expensive-but hey,we love our bikes-is to get a used one.All 1100's are the same.Change out the sator and regulator,and have the cover refinished in the finish of your choice. You're probably going to have to change out the charging system eventually,so why not do it all now?

No eBay APP ID and/or Cert ID defined in Kunena configurationAccording to Kawasaki.com the list of bikes at the bottom of this posting all use the same generator cover. The old part number is 14031-1056; the superseded part number is 14031-1292 (see diagram below). That 14031-1292 part is still “Active” so it is available from dealers. Ronayers.com lists it at $154.27. A used part is available on eBay at:



I would double check this info before buying. Ed
