I once seen where someone had put two ball bearing in there pusher and it wouldnt allow it to work.

Did you happen to find a new cable? Not sure if you read on my thread, but it was mentioned that it could be breaking in the casing (these cables are old)

I have the new clutch cable and adjustment bolt in but waiting on the cam still. I'll post as soon as I have a result of replacing those.

So I finally got all the parts in. The cam was shipped in from Africa... Anyways, I put it all together- new cable, cam, and adjustment bolt. I put a nut on the bolt on both sides to get the cam raised since it wasn't flanged like the factory one. Works like a charm. I'll post after I ride it tomorrow. I still would like to get a ball bearing to put between the lever and the push rod so I can set the lever farther in the housing but til then this looks like it will work.
