1981 KZ750 wont idle was created by 68malibu88
I have a 1981 ZK750 and I cant seem to figure out why it wont idle it will crank and pop but wont idle. I just had the carbs rebuilt and before it the the same situation, i had them rebuilt in hopes that the carbs were the cause of the problem...

Checked valve clearance? Are the plugs wet with gas? Checked float levels on carbs?

What was the condition of the carb holders?

Have you checked the air filter. I bought an oem style K&N and had to rejet my carbs.
