Hello.
I just have some questiones. Have just got start on my kawazaki kz400 1981 mod.
I have just bought it and dont know so much about it.
Here in norway u can buy 95 octane and 98 octane gasoline. Witch one should i use?
And should i use lead replascement?

Where in Norway are you? A few months ago I traveled to Oslo, Gran, Molde, Stavanger, and Svalbard it was an amazing trip!
You should try and ride this road on your motorcycle [its outside of Lysebotn, close to Stavanger]
The road leading to Lysebotn; all 27 switchbacks of it! by mmsmithgall , on Flickr
Anyhow, octane ratings in Europe are different than octane ratings here in the US and Canada. 95 octane in Europe is very close to 90 (89 octane is mid-grade usually) here stateside. 98 octane in Europe is roughly equal to 93 octane, or premium here in North America.
2000 ZRX 1100
1976 KZ 900- Daily Driver
1980 LTD 550- Dalton Highway survivor!
If it has tits or tires, it'll give you problems!

So i should use the 98 then? But shuld i use lead replacements?
I live in bergen. Just north of stavanger. I will try to drive on that road this summer

Yes, I would run the 98. From the specs I looked it, it seems as though that little 440 has a compression ratio of over 9:1 so the higher octane fuel would be good.
