Most everything came of easy, except the clutch hub. This isn't a left handed nut is it? I can't budge it with a 2' breaker bar, so I'm thinking of going to the impact driver. Safe to do?

My impact driver could not do the job. I had to use a 2m long pipe to get enough torque on the nut.

With a little help from a Dewalt 18 Volt impact,I was able to get the nut off. For the record, the impact diver didn't loosen the nut much, but enough that I could turn it with a 2' breaker bar.
After dropping the oil pump and removing the retainer clip on the gear on the secondary shaft I was able to "tap" the secondary shaft into the right side case. I still haven't taken it out yet, ran out of time. Is there any trick to this?
Kzipper, Do you need a press to put the assembly back together after taking it apart? Just wondering whats ahead of me. I've owned this bike since new in 83. I hate when it is down, even though my newer bikes are much more capable and easy to ride!

Now yet, just got the replacement bearing, the one under the starter clutch. The needles fell out while I was taking it apart. I'll probably get to it tomorrow

Starts like a champ, road it for about 1/2 mile, with no issues. One drop of oil off the pan after approx 4 hours, I figure maybe that was already there during assembly. I'll track it for a couple days.
Here's a short video of me starting it 3 times. It is nice to have a starter clutch that works and even better sound like it was new. Probably save the battery too

Note that I said "new starter" when I meant "new starter clutch"
