Kz 750 top end on a 650 bottom?

I have a complete 1981 650csr engine and a spare 750 top end.
I was thinking of putting the 750 top on the 650 bottom so I could
Have a spare engine for my 750e. Will this work? And how do I check
the 750 cylinders condition to see if they are within spec?

Bore specs and measurement procedures are described in the Factory Service Manual.

Yes it will bolt right on, assuming you do not have a kick starter.
