Kz 750 top end on a 650 bottom? was created by geohaydook1
I have a complete 1981 650csr engine and a spare 750 top end.
I was thinking of putting the 750 top on the 650 bottom so I could
Have a spare engine for my 750e. Will this work? And how do I check
the 750 cylinders condition to see if they are within spec?

1980 KZ750e
1981 KZ650 csr (fate undecided)

Bore specs and measurement procedures are described in the Factory Service Manual.

A KZ750 manual may be downloaded via this link and scrolling down to "The Bible."
