Kawasaki KZ750 four pistons

Well I am always buying spare parts I won´t need in a near by future (I know I am sort of a freak, but I plan to have this bike till the day I die). I already have a NOS set of 4 pistons STD (won a bid for 100 USD, lucky me )for my KZ750 H2 ltd. Also a NOS set of 4 pistons rings 13008-5031 (44 USD each).

This was way over priced, in spite of buying at Fleebay and PArt Godzilla.

So I started to investigate further...

Please correct me if I am wrong, but I think Honda XR200 pistons will work fine with our bikes.

OD 66mm (STD is 63,5mm +05mm second oversize)
Wrist Pin is 15mm
I am not sure if compression height is the same, and if the two cavitys for the valves match.

Original Honda piston is 70USD including rings, wrist pin and cir clips.

By the way, you can buy buy Honda pistons in 0,75mm and 1,00mm oversize also.... this would be the same as having a first and second size piston in our KZ750.

0,25 and 0,5mm in Kawasaki kz750 piston are listed as obsolete.

You could allways get a Wiseco 810 kit.Best thing I ever did for mine. :woohoo:

The idea was to keep the CCs the same. I know Winseco makes great pistons kit.
I was searching for alternatives because outside US, like my country Argentina and many others, we have a lot of customs problems with "big sized" packages.

For example: Winseco 810 kit is usually around USD500 plus shipping USPS Priority or Express.

Tax here is (if you get caught) 50% over (price+shipping).

I don´t know way, but Honda sells a lot cheapper OEM parts and the XR200 was very popular here, also in Brazil.
