Long time since i have been here glad to be back, bike nearly ready for paint, but a question to kz brothers. i have a 1978 kz650 and i need to know about the collar on the counter shaft the one that sits right behind the drive sprocket. how far is it suppose to be out past the oil seal, mine is appox 3/16" plz help gotta know soon so i can get the sprocket support built i had a 7/8" offset sprocket made so i can run a wider tire. if anyone cares to see bike its on youtube right after i got it fired up for the first time in bout 30 years big cams big pistons 28mm carbs new crank mains and shot peened and balanced rods and alot of work so far. it can be found listed as (tommys dragbike). take care and stay on two.
