Stock Looking After-Market Exhaust? was created by Mid life crisis
Hi.

I have a 1981 KZ750E2. I already have a 4 into 1 exhaust for it, but I would like to find a stock looking exhaust as well (I actually have two of the same bike, so I want one to be as stock looking as possible).

Are there slip-ons that will connect to the stock headers?

Here is an image of my exhaust issue on the parts bike:

So, if I could find something that slips on just behind the cross over pipe it would be great.

Any ideas? I am looking for used systems, but the ones I find are in poor condition.

Thanks.

Some of the on-line motorcycle places, such as JCWhitney, list Dunstall replica mufflers - there are a few to choose from having a megaphone type end or cone type. Emgo & Helix Racing. They fit the 70s 650s really good (see pic). Fitment on the 750-4 may be a little problematic, because the 750 mufflers have a recess for center stand clearance, so the stand may bang against the Dunstalls... not sure, though.
