I have a 1981 kz750 not sure what model but it has kz1000 carbs on it and im not sure how to adjust them. Its running rough and idling high. Someone told me they pressed caps over the pilot screw adjustment. Is this true. if so how do i get it out ? please help

Drill a hole in it and pry it out w a small screwdriver. Go slow and easy. The screws are brass and you don't want to be cutting on them.

okay thanks. and it should be located on the top of the carb right. i dont want to drill into something im not suppose to

There are several models of kz1000 carbs. Pictures would really help.
