i have a good dent near the header on one of my pipes that im pretty sure needs to be addressed. i am not looking to buy new pipes or pay to have someone do it, so i need an effective cheap way to remove this dent. appearance is an non-issue i just want it done. ive heard of some ways to do it but im new and would like to hear what you all have to say. what works, what not to try, things of that nature. i would upload pictures but i couldnt get it to work last time so the dent is about 2 inches long and goes in probably a half inch or so. i have a welder, angle grinder, torches, ect. so i should be able to try whatever youve got. thanks

May fab a dent remover tool by welding a length of steel cable to a ball bearing that's slightly smaller than inside diameter of the header pipe.

Heat the pipe sufficiently (cherry red) to push the ball bearing through the dented section, which should press out the dent from inside the pipe.

The cable is for removing the ball bearing from inside the pipe.

Good Fortune! :)

Just an fyi, the stock pipes may be double-walled.
