Kz1000 engine issue help needed

Found a kz1000 for the motor, has three seperate obvious issues

Kickstart mechanism has been removed, i want it reinstalled what is involved here

The shift shaft end is buggered up and needs replaced, same question is this internal?

And one i already know what to do on; broken plug in head, it's drilling time!

Kickstarter Mechanism is Split the Case Halves.

Foot Shifter Shaft is external

Spark Plug is.... Better You than Me.. :lol: I'm teasin' ya, but it sucks.

Hey i cut my teeth as a car mechanic, good old 4.6 fords and broken plugs, no problem.

Well that sucks about splitting the cases to do the kicker, had figured that might be the answer, after driving 125 miles one way to get the bike though i wasnt leaving empty handed

Is it a big deal to split the case to do the kickshaft? Or is it just flip the engine over pull pan and bottom half of case, motor is out of frame

What do you look for to find one of these shift shafts? Its a mkii motor
