Any work on the quality/fitment of those piston rings? I am debating throwing in a new set for my rebuild soon. I think the ones I have should be okay for a re-install, but kinda feel like it's maybe cutting corners at this point. At $200+ for a set through Z1 or bikebandit, it's alot to swallow, but if those appear to be well made, and are within spec, $80 CAD is far better, and no cross border shipping to boot!

Cheers!

I don't recognize the packaging. They appear to be old stock.

If the are Japanese made, they should be good. There's a few different ring manufacturers in Japan, and they all appear to be high quality. Wiseco, J&E, MTC and others all use Japanese rings...'

If they are not Japanese, I would avoid.

Thanks Jeff.

The seller is away on vacation at the moment so I can't ask him. I wouldn't use rings if they were made in Bangladesh etc! However, if they are Japanese, and even old stock then great.

If I can't get confirmation on country of origin or producer, then forget it. Might be too good to be true.

Cheers!
