1981 kz650 adding a kickstart?

I have a 1981 KZ650 CSR. I'm getting mixed reviews whether or not its possible to add a kick start. I've heard its possible but would have to split the case? If anyone knows of a thread that already exists or parts I may need it would be appreciated. I hate having to wait for a battery to charge and push starting it is getting very tiresome! haha

I've added it to a 750/4.

Searching for info for doing that exact swap. Putting a 81 650's kickstarter onto the 81 750 (doesn't have one, but surely can be converted).

You suggested he continue his search, as it had been discussed before. Was that in the archives?
