Oil Light flickers at idle and on at 4500 rpm

Hi all,

As the title says on my 650 B....goes away with slight acceleration at idle but then comes on again at 4500 disappears above or below 4500....no gas in oil. Any ideas?

It's probably the sending unit. NOTE that is a plain bearing engine so investigate and resolve the situation ASAP. Could be as simple as the sending unit....could be an oil pump screen all clogged up.

My 1000 did the same thing. Ended up being sludge and trash in the pan. Had the pickup screen totally clogged.
