gpz 750 in gpz 550 frame

Hi everone First post . I have a 1984 GPZ 550 and a friend is willing to give me his kz750 ltd motor will this fit in the frame .

If you cut and weld the frame, yes.

It will not just bolt in, though.

The gpz550 motor would probably be more fun anyway, since it is lighter.

What Loudhvx said. You can put any engine into any frame as long as you are willing to cut, weld and fabricate stuff to make it work. Here is a GPZ1100 engine in a 750 frame. LOTS of work and lots of problems to solve.

No, I swapped some parts with a guy in Indy and he had it. He was a chassis fab guy for one of the race teams. Does stuff like that for a hobby.
