heck yeah!
Turns out that the top end rebuild worked and finally got the bike started for the first time since I've owned it! It sounded so good to me. Still have to sync the carbs, installl grips, throttle cables, clutch cables and bleed and get the master cylinder working (have a repair kit ready)... but that's all cake to me at this point... the thing cranked! What a good feeling. I chimed in on another thread about how after reassembling the engine I got nothing. Turns out i did have good compression, spark and fuel. Although my battery was the issue in getting it to fully turn over. With a new battery and manual throttling the carbs it started.
