Stutter when I'm above half throttle

Started doing this after a long ride today. Carbs are freshly rebuilt. Valves are within clearance. Plenty of fuel. Both the lines are feeding the carbs well. It did this a while back and the screw that holds the condensers was loose so with high revs it was shorting out. I just checked the screw again on the points plate and it was fine. All the screws that hold the points are tight. Timing maybe? I just had a dwell meter then the inductive light in her. Maybe check that again? It rode very strong yesterday. Then on the way home I went to pass a car and it stuttered so I let off and put the tank on reserve and it didn't help. Any ideas?

old battery will do this...

Not having a full 12 volts to the coils will also act like that.

Try turning the headlight off when it starts to stumble. If it improves, it's time for a battery.

I just did the coil mod so I have the same voltage at the coils as the battery. I'll check it guys.

Could be a few things. lube the timing advancor. springs old in advancor. starved for fuel. vent in gas cap could be clogged

checked the gaps on the points again one was off. but a nut was striped out so I couldn't correct that. now i'm down until I get that fixed.

Has anybody had problems with the relay(coil mod) vibrating and causing the bike to cut out? Just a thought.
