We are working with a bike builder on a KZ chopper that is being done for a large bike show. Back in the day, Honda 750 choppers were a big deal, infact there is a website for them today. However, altho there were KZ choppers, they were quite rare.
We will be doing most of the engine stuff on this one.
Here is a mock up shot.
Apparently it won't let me post it. I will post it on FB then try to post from there.

Keep us all posted Jay. I saw a 750 Honda in a Amen Savoir frame win his class last weekend in a show. Bike was built by a 21 yr old kid. Always great to see fresh blood coming into the sport.

Hello I'm the one building the bike Jay is talking about. I've done some pretty wild looking CB choppers in the recent past. They always had 836 kits, cams, etc. I figured if I wanted to go bigger and faster the only one to talk to was Jay at APE. He was into it so I'll be taking my motor up to him shortly. I'm trying to figure out how to post pictures and will as soon as I do. Thanks, Duane

Jay has some head work planned along with a 10.25-1 1075 kit from wiseco. I'm sure he can give you way more detail than I. I'm much more familiar with the go fast stuff for CB's. This is the first time with a KZ.

You realize that bike has more brakes on the back than most bikes on here have on both wheels combined, you might need to bungi cord yourself to the seat/bars when you hit the brakes on that one! :woohoo:

Yes the brakes are completely overboard but that's the look im going for. Digger style bikes were popular for a while in the late seventies to early eighties. I want that look with some of todays technology.
