2 things about the last 2 bikes I brought home:
It was easier to ask for forgiveness than permission for one
(a friend told me that and he was right)
and the other one- she can't park in the garage anyways. there's no room with the bikes in there, so what's one more?

I'm lucky, the little woman doesn't care what I buy (as long as its not another airplane). Common sense and a lack of room tells me to pass.

I can tell you that the scenery in the background of the Vid is 100% consistant with the area the bike is supposed to be in, the metric speedo places it here as well. The old Cal plate is weird tho.

The bike was posted on Feb 16th, the add is still up and the seller said its still available a couple days ago. If somebody else wants it go for it! If I didn't have the Shaftie and a second bike I would buy it.
I totally agree with you about stuff owning a person. I'm comfortable with the stuff I have now, a couple years ago I had a 1946 airplane and must have worked on it 3 hours for every hour I flew it. No doubt that thing owned me.
