KZ expert in Michigan needed
04 Mar 2013 15:12
I am looking for someone or a shop that is well versed in KZ's. I have a 1981 KZ1000. I need my carbs possibly rejetted. Definitly cleaned and syncronized.
I have a SuperTrapp 4 into 1 on the bike. There are no packs on the pipe, just the baffle to mount them to. I want to remove that mount, hence the possible rejetting. It runs fine now, I just want the baffle removed.
Where is a good shop or person to take my baby too? Thanks

I can help you out in Big Rapids (motorcycle tech, formerly worked for duc, now a hobby) I can sync them and get the jets close but you really might want to take them to somebody with a dyno and get it really fine tuned, it makes a huge difference, I don't have a dyno "YET" (being the key word :woohoo: There is a shop in howard city that I have been refered too before, they do alot of race engines for people and I believe they have a dyno,
