custom ground cams

curious about regrinding the cams at a local cam shop. if I adjust the clearances and get some taken off the back of the lobe what would I gain? lift, lobe, timing is probably not going to change, horsepower...

You would gain nothing but more problems to go with your tractor muffler :pinch:

I have emailed a cam company and let them know I will be posting this. I have done business there before I want to see what gains I would get.
being that they are adjustable lifters I would think that it is do-able but not sure what I would gain.

I must admit this thing ran way faster before taking the valve adjustment down to spec, even with 60psi on the#2 cylinder!!!!
