I will have 3 rub points that matter....will be using 3-mill black shrink tubing at these points to correct problem and protect from rubbing. Normal shrink tube is 1-mill thickness.

pete greek1 wrote: I dont know if this helps, but I talked to the people at Valley Hydralic Services in South Elgin Ill. & they said they have braided stainless steel hose with a plastic coating, it can be clear, or many other colors, maybe maroon for your application, they say its heat resistent up to 250 degrees, I dont know how hot the parts are going to be, that your worried about the hose touching or rubbing against ...Pete
On stainless steel braided hose.....It might bump the very top 2 inch of front valve cover. Its going under tank and down between carbs and engine. I will put some on where it can contact the carb boot. Im talking in all 1 - two inch section and 2 - 3 inch sections in all. Its really not going to be a prob.

I took mine out when it was raked and slugged 7 inches of downtube for strenght....then braced frame going back. This is the brace that lockhart coolers bolt to.
So I can run my cooler lines stright back off the cooler up between the downtubes and under tank....I dont have the brace in the way or have to go around it. You dont see any of the hose off the cooler in front. I will wire tie the braided line to under tank frame rails that will act as a heat sink also.
My garage is to dark to get pics....I will post in great detail when I can roll outside on a sunny day.
