Some people lay the motor on the ground on it's side then lay the frame down over it. Others make some kind of table (cement blocks/bricks/etc, with a board on top), of the same height as the frame, set the motor on it and then slide it into place.

And there's always the "Invite a couple of friends over to share a sixpak" thing :)

if it was a bare frame id lay the motor on its side and lay frame over it and bolt it together, but it sounds like yours is complete.so id go heeman route.;)

I went through this same thing about a year ago. I am about 5'8" and 160lbs. so not"stout" either. I got it up on the frame and then used a couple of bars to lever it over little by little and into the right position. Just take it slow and always be aware of the strain you are putting on your back. (Lift with legs)

I like to use a square wheeled moving dolly and transmission jack. I WILL NOT lay a frame over on its side when I can just pop the engine off the dolly onto the transmission jack and let the jack lift the engine to the right height then just slip the engine into the frame. Then I slide the jack back under the engine and lift a little till the motor mounts line up and then bolt it up.

My nephew and I are both about the same size (6'3"+, 240 lbs), and I pick up the motor and hold it at chest height while he picks up the bike and slides it over the motor. He holds it while I bolt it in place

I'm joking, but we actually might be able to do that, he is into weight lifting and bench presses somewhere over 600 lbs. :)
