I have a 1981 KZ440 LTD.
Took the clutch cover plate off and tried putting it back and I get no tension in my clutch handle.
I read what I could find in archives but they seem to describe older models (diff pics)
What is correct way to re-seat mechanism??
Please help this newbie.
Thanks

Probably best to look for a good shop manual.
The cable usually seats onto a housing that is attached to an arm that actuates the clutch push rod. Sometimes the cable if it is very slack can slip out of the housing.
