1. Take off left foot rest.
2. Unbolt shifter bolt (all the way) and pull shifter off.
3. Remove four bolts and remove chain cover.
4. Bend tabs back holding stator wires in order to gain slack in the wire.
5. Remove screws from stator cover.
6. Remove stator cover but be aware of the wire attached. Have a box or something to rest it on.
If it doesn't want to budge give a few whacks with a rubber mallet. Not hard enough to cause
damage though.
7. Remove there allen bolts holding the windings in the stator cover. Bolts may be held in there with
blue thread lock. So once you break that seal they come out easy.
8. Remove windings with fingers underneath the windings and place on box or whatever you are using to
support it so you don't have to unplug it. When taking the windings out you will have to pull at
rubber grommet the wires go through as you gain slack from the windings. Good luck.

Should be just like my little motor right.
Three screws and unplug the one connector
under the side cover.

Now getting the sater screws out can
be a real B%%ch but if your careful you could do it
with the wires hanging out.

Tilt the bike to the right if possible, to minimize the oil loss, & put down old newspapers or kitty liter to absorb any dropped oil. Don't forget to buy a new gasket for the cover, as the old one will probably tear and leak if re-used.
