Piston options for an 83 kz750? was created by bobski911
Hey guys, its time to do some work on the bike now that the snow is here. I'm wanting to put a new primary chain in my 83 kz750f. I'm tired of the rattle. However, I was wondering if there were any option for going up a size in pistons. I know wiseco has pistons but dont want to spend $600+. Would anyone have advice on this?

Thanks

There's no cheap way of doing it, but the 810cc Wiseco kit is the one to go for.

been there when i built my racer....

well, all you have to google is "69mm piston, 15mm pin", no?

so you'll find some cheap monkey bike kits that are 69/15, trouble is that they all have the wrong piston crown height and by quite a few mm.

went with wiseco at the end.

No eBay APP ID and/or Cert ID defined in Kunena configurationNo eBay APP ID and/or Cert ID defined in Kunena configuration810 kit, bore job, valve job, primary chain, gaskets, oils seals, etc will be more like $1K.
But you should have quite a good result from the upgrade, and rebuild.
