I'm not trying to be mean! I'm asking a legitmite question that most wont ask, be it afraid of reprecussions or political suicide. I'll answer all questions I can, If I can't, I'll tell you "I don't know and I'll do my homework" If after that I can't give you a good sound answer, I'll tell you, "It's beyond my reach or out of my capability!" Just being honest!

It seems the question remains as to anyone's experience with using this clutch on the street.

Good Fortune! :)

I've read all the manufacturer's ads. Have tried other clutches ( barnet, FBG ) but have gone back to OEM. With all the good things that I have gotten from APE, was just wondering how they stacked up (pun intended). Besides they are less expensive than OEM.

We will Don, I'm not far from assembling the lower end and will need a trans so a trip to schnitz is in order. If the weather holds out, how does next Saturday sound?

Les I'll give you a call.

I think what I'm asking has more to do with the engagement point. On the street a wide engagement to lock up works best for me where as on my dragbike a more abrupt one is ok. Just a personal preference.

Me thinks somebodys buying their parts from same supplier, just wording add a little different but sounds a lot alike.
Schnitz racing says their clutch plates from kg will make you king of the street or track king also.
So is kg manufacturing supplying parts for everybody to repackage?
Having spent many years in the plumbing/electrical/hvac trades on both sides of the supply chain I know theres only so many manufacturers out there with the capability to make certain products then others buy from them and repackage them in their own bag/box B)
