have a look at a british product called
sureseal. this is 2 pack and is 100% ethonol
proof. i've just done two tanks with it!
forget everything else, this stuff is used
to line ethinol storage tanks.
i don't whether it's available in your country.
the guy who uses it daily. restores tanks
for any bike. he has a website. do a search
on the internet for 'sureseal'. it's also on utube as
instructional videos. the stuff is heated in
a microwave until slightly bubbling.
plug your tank tap/fuel gauge holes, clean it out with nuts, bolts etc.
clean out with degreaser. the tank has to
be clean and TOTALLY DRY. then warm
the tank on an oil filled radiator. i covered
my tank with a rug to retain the rising heat.
then transfer the bubbling microwaved
two pack sureseal and woosh it around
in all directions. the wooshing noise will
eventually stop. this the sealant now
needs to harden! i left mine a week.'
please type in sureseal in utube.
100% ethonol proof.
do they sell it in the usa!
just trying to help those that helped me!

The 84 KZ700 seems similar to the 83 KZ750-L3 & the fuel tanks look identical in the diagram drawings - they have the same petcock & fuel gauge. Both models are kinda rare. The 82 GPz750 tank looks to be the same as well. All 3 mount the same at the rear & have the same rear bracket. Here's a couple... there are probably more... the blue one didn't sell. I guess it's too far away. hee.

Well guys, I think what I might do is see if I can get a refund for the work they did on the tank and call it quits with that tank. Honestly, if I am having this many problems with it now, I shouldnt bother fixing it anymore because it will just get me in the long run.
The blue tank seems like a good deal for the most part compared to the other one. The only problem I see between my tank and this one is that the lines are different on the top portion. What do you guys think? I just dont want to order a tank from Sweden, and find out it does not fit lol.
