I want to go away from sidewinder. I would like to move to a Kerker style to name one for example.

I like a very loud, deep exhaust note....this is important to me.

For the forum users of headers, what is the Consensus of the header lot?

I LOVE the look and sound of the 2.5" race baffle in my Kerker. The sound at idle is nice and throaty and when I get on the gas it is music, loud music but still nothing sounds like a kerker.

Yoshimura pipe without baffle. Sounds like a Rolls Merlin P 51 :evil:

That header on that bike does look sharp....they do sell the Meg series for the KAW....you can get the 2.5 for it.....

I do like the sound of a Kerker but according to Cavanauh the vance and hines is a better pipe in a similar style to the kerker but can't speak for the sound.
Don't know if this will work.

Love the Kerker. Standard baffle. Never went past 5000 rpm in video (top end only put together less than 200 mi ago). Had a Kerker with a medium competition baffle when I had my 74. Nice around town, but for long distance (1 hour+) my ears used to ache.

The vance and hines street header sounds great and for 200 less bucks its the one for me
remove the packing from the baffle its loud for sure

I have a dozen videos on you tube under mr pickles art channel but the sound sucks on most of em]
