heres my question, i have a 82 750h frame with a 750e engine ( not that it matters). i noticed that the 750E fuel tank has a little different tank then the 750H. and i really want the 750E tank. will i run into and issues? the rear mounting point looks the same. i just like the little squared look in the rear oppose to the tear drop crusier look on the 750H. please tell me that it will fit!

I just checked my usual source of info and they didn't have a picture of tank or frame for either model
you might just have to buy a tank and start modifying brackets and seat.........

At least on person on this forum reported that the 750E tank will bolt-on to the H frame, BUT the upper triple will bang against the tank. If you look at some ebbaayy pics, you can see that the E triple is kinda angled forward, whereas the H is kinda straight across... which is probably why the H triple contacts the tank. I've checked into this as I've been interested in getting a larger tank. My bike has the same frame as the 750H.

oh and i dont have any contact with my triples. the bike started off as a 78 650 with a 750 motor from an 82. the bike had no title so a bought a titled frame and did it that way. well i wasnt thinking and when i had everything powder coated the only triples i had where from the old 78 650. which i didnt figure out was a big deal until i tried to mount my mag wheel from the 82. so for now ill be running the front spoke and rear mag.
