1976 kz750 twin piston rings

Hi all. New to the forum, been around old metrics for a while.

I'm currently rebuilding a 1976 KZ750B-1. I need a set of standard size piston rings (Kawi part number 130008-055). They are discontinued from Kawasaki, and there are no aftermarket sources of which I am aware.

I have called Jeff at Z1, Old Bike Barn, Bike Bandit, and about 20 other places.

Any ideas?

modern kawasaki dealers have a service called K-share it is a locator connection between all kawasaki dealers to locate old obsolete stock in other dealers. I just found rings for a s-1 3 cyl 250cc through there. they havent made rings for that bike since 1982.

To late, I only had one set of standard pistons and rings

Now I need a couple of 1mm oversize piston and ring sets (4 pistons).

we have a shop near me that was a kawasaki dealer years ago, Als cycle shop in palmer mass, al has passed on but his daughter runs it now, she has a ton of nos kawi parts, I have got things there and she tells she probably has it if its for a kawi,you can call her and she will find it and ship it to you, her name is Jeannie the telephone number is 1 413 2838233
