WHICH ENGINE SHOULD I BUILD? was created by 1984=KZ750-L4
NEED SOME ADVIVE ON WHICH BIKE I SHOULD RESTORE...

BIKE #1
84 KZ 750, L4
Bike is complete, runs, but leaks so much oil you need new pants every ride, clutch and trans feel great, engine very noisy and rattles, over all condition is 4 out of 10

BIKE #2
82 GPz 750R
Bike is complete and in better condition looks wise, 6 1/2 out of 10.
But the case has a hole in the side from probally a rod,

this bike came wit h a motor that is supposed to run 83 GPZ motor.

this was my thinking......take the 83 motor and but it as is into bike number one, to resell.... then take the cylinders and heads from the broken case motor and
and but them on the kz lower end, and while apart build a 810....

any comments or advice is appreciated... thanks

If the rod put a hole in the case then it's very likely to have damaged the cylinder and head.

SHOULD I JUST STRIP THE Broken case motor and have it checked out piece by piece... there is a very small hole in the case right beside the right motor mount, thumb size
