Hey guys, should I be able to shift through all the gears while my bike is not running? I have a 1983 kz1000 police bike and I can only seem to go between 1st and neutral. The heel toe shifter has a lot of play in it also.

76 KZ, frame gusset work,1200CC.Ported by Larry Cavanaugh, 1.5mm.over intakes, Carron Pipe, ZRX12 rear end, and seat,96zx9 front end.

that is normal. the trany must be turning to shift into 2nd.
