I LOVE the old style Kerker KR pipe with the race baffle. Idles nice and throaty when you get on it the howl it produces is music.

I'm gonna stick a tampon in mine it's

well i finally started the bike up today with the new header, i didnt have time to do it the past 2 days. it ran like crap at first and i thought it fouled some plugs. i got to looking and seen i pulled the vacuum line off the carb when i lifted the tank to put the battery back in. it is definitely quieter then my old kerker. maybe it was because i took the fiberglass packing out of the old one  .

Yes the stock baffle in the Kerker is fairly quiet.

That's OK if you like it that way...if not get yourself a 2" comp baffle...
Or if you want it louder again...the race baffle is the way to go.

Wow, mine must have a comp baffle in it because it is pretty damn loud. Not loud enough to make you go deaf but i pissed off the neighbors all the time at our apartments we used to live at. Had one lady get so mad, she lied and said i was going out a 2AM and revving my bike and then going back in the house :D jeez man, im not that obnoxious. The latest we ever left home was 8 and after the first complaint i would shut my bike off way up the street and coast into the complex.
