Hey Guys

Does somebody know why there are two outlets on the original petcock for a KZ750 B1 1976?

Should the overflow pipe in the bottom on the carb, be connected somewhere?

What is the pipe for on the side of the Carb, should it be connected somewhere?

Best Regards Andreas

Fuel line. It could be that there are 2 fuel lines: one for each carb. I looked at the diagrams & didn't see a fuel Tee between the carbs, so each carb may be fed directly from the fuel valve.

Carb overflows. (1st photo) The port at the bottom of the carb bowls is for the overflows. Tubing is generally connected there & routed towards the ground. The diagrams show a little harness to keep the tubing in place.

Upper overflows (2nd photo). The upper ports seem to be listed as overflows in the diagrams, but those may function as vents? Tubing is usually connected to the vents & left open to atmosphere.

Thanks for the help!

I will try to assemble the Carb again with the original tank on Thursday.

There was a T-connection on the fuel line between the carb before. I will try to connect each Carb with on fuel line from the petcock, as you suggested and see if it works :-)

Thanks for the help with the overflow ports, I will see if I can figure out how to route the overflow pipes.

My bike has been standing still for 9 years in a garage, so I am excited to see if it will start!

I have renovated the old original tank, it is cooler than the tank the bike had before!

You might want to put 750-Twin in the topic title for more replies.
