Plug '79 750 Twin Tach was created by AjKZBobber
So, I don't have a tach on my bike, and I don't want one. The problem is that, while the bike is running, it drips onto the engine and burns. I need something to plug it with.

I was fortunate enough to have a forum member sell me an old leftover tach cable connecter without the cable attached to it. The problem is, its just plugged on the end with a rubber piece that expands when it heats up and leaks anyway.

I guess that I could take the bike to a machine shop and have them make something for me to plug it with, but I would like to see if there is a easier way first.

Thanks in advance.

My 79 750 had no tach cable when I bought it. The hole was plugged with what looks like a tach cable connector with a little allen screw tapped into it. I'll post some pics soon. You can have it if you want it.

So like I said, you're welcome to this if you need it, or maybe you can modify the connector you've got so it's like this. PM me if you want me to mail this to you.

Topper,

That looks like a simple solution. I'll see what I can come up with. No need to waste money on shipping. Seems like an easy enough fix.

Thanks.
