I just used shop rags. You can trap a strong coin in the gear behind the basket.

An update.
Clutch and clutchbasket is off, and so is the oil pump.
As far as i know, next step is to tap the shaft and starterclutch from the left side, så the bearing on the right side will come out. But no.
The shaft is loose, and I can tap it from side to side, but the right side bearings dosn't come out. So have to solve this one.

Got the starterclutch out. Bit tricky at first.
One of the springs where broken, and the roller was stuck.
Fitted ned springs and rollers, and got it back in the engine. Did it with the engine in the frame, and it was quite easy to put it back together.
Now I just need to fit the exhaust and give the engine a service, and its ready to get back on the roads.

I saw that getting the right side bearing out was difficult. Did tapping the shaft finally pop it out, or did you need to do something else to remove it? Ed

I removed the nut, and took the starterclutch apart while it was still i the engine. Getting it back in was the same.
Fitting the clutch to the chain, and then sliding the shaft in.
