I just got my new idler I was wondering if I should soak it in oil before I install it?
Thanks!

It's a good idea to make sure any of the parts are lubed during assembly so that on startup they are not dry. I don't soak idlers, but I do lubricate parts like idler bearings with oil during assembly. Then before I put the cam cover on, I empty a quart of oil over the buckets, cams, cam chain and idlers while manually turning the engine over.
