Rebuild or sell? was created by rhb629
I had been working on fixing up an '81 KZ750 and was almost finished until the starter clutch and basket started to give out
This was during the middle of the summer and I didn't have time to repair a job like that. Instead I used my little CB350 around town and got a very good deal on a 1978 KZ650B. The 650 runs great and I've been doing some minor work to it.
But, because the 750 and 650 have some similar parts, I've been taking the better ones off of the non-running 750 and putting them on the 650. Now I'm debating what to do with the 750:
Interested to hear any thoughts.

- I could repair the 750 entirely
- I could part the 750 out completely
- I was also thinking of pulling the 750's engine, rebuilding it with a new starter clutch, and eventually dumping it into the 650 since the engine will fit
Interested to hear any thoughts.

Remember, don't work on your bike so much you never ride it.

It really depends on what you want to do. You could also part it out on Ebay.
