Hello, dwyer, and WELCOME to KZrider forums.
If running pods instead of the stock air box, it's more difficult to tune the carbs for acceptable performance throughout their full range from closed to WOT.
A strong smooth pull-away depends on well-functioning carb pilot circuits.
The pilot circuits may need cleaning, and possibly also need new and/or perhaps larger pilot jets.
Good Fortune!

Have you used the Mixture screws to tune the slow speed/ Idle circuit? Turning these out another 1/4 turn each may help depending on where they are set at now and the engine demand.
