Need help, poor idle was created by yiro90
I have a 1979 Kz 1000, it is idling poorly and it has to start at half choke or more and its somewhat poor so when i accelerate to get it off the choke there is a pop and it runs great then dies out.

starting with choke is pretty much the standard, that's why it's there. Once it's warmed up, should be able to turn it off. What do you mean about "accelerating to get it off the choke"? Is that once you've been riding and it's warmed up, or right after starting?
