Does anyone know what brand and model headers fit the Z1 Classic? I have called Vance and Hines and they do not know.

Should be able to use any pipe from a Z1 900/KZ900/KZ1000,KZ1100. IF it still has the fuel injection on it (many have been switched to carbs) you may want to do some research on adjusting the fuel/air mixture prior to changing exhaust.
By the way, welcome to KZRider. If you put the basic information of the bike (year, model, any modifications that have been done) in your signature you tend to get faster and more informed answers. We also like pictures around here!

I used a Kerker and a Mac on my Classic. They are the same headers I used on all my 900/1000 bikes I have owned in the last 14 years.

Be careful...V&H do not fit on all models...for example, V&H sold for the A series KZ1000 do not fit on the KZ1000 B series (and the G model is very similar to the B series). I suspect that any V&H designed for the B series KZ1000 will work on the G model.

Only differance between the models should be the bracket between megaphone and frame, which is easy to make/bend from a piece of steel strap
