quick timing question was created by ramtough_63
when I put my Dyna in I bsically just put the new one in right where my old one was
never put a timing light on it was just happy it ran

it's always been a bit if a dog so I went out and started my Relay prep and had a fouled plug
(From moving it out of the building run it a minute shut it off etc...) replaced the plug and decided to check the advancer Long story short bumped the timing up about a screw width and now it breaks the tire (190)loose rolling on the throttle

My timing light isnt working so until I get near one i'm guessing anyway it kicks back a little warm so I will need to move it back a little but...

will retarded timing make one foul plugs?

No,it will affect all plugs the same B)
I used to put front tire up against a brick wall and load the motor a little to tell when my timing was about right!
