Engine Swaps

I have a blown up 1982 KZ750 ltd and trying to find out what motors i can basically just bolt in. I have been told that a 600r from 1985 will be the same motor mount pattern and can swap right in. If anyone has info on what i can and cant use please help me out. Thanks

any kz-ltd-csr 650 or 750 just about will drop right in...they made tons

i have not seen too many water cooled 80's ninja mills being bolt in ...but we learn something every day....the only swaps i know of with a kz650 to 750 is the charging side and that can be swapped out too...

mine lost its oil on a trip and i didnt notice (rookie move). As soon as i heard the first pinging noises i engaged the clutch and shut her down. I have it on film and have listened a few times. I have not pulled anything apart as of yet but i took it to MainJet in Nelson, BC and they told me it was ceased. I have to pull it apart this winter i guess. unless i find a replacement.
