wrecked

my bike was wrecked ,the lower crank case got a hole punched in it, and some denting and dinging to the frame exhust and gas tank, so my question is will any 550 lower crank case interchange? i have found some on e bay but i'm worried they won't work the crank cases are h1but mine is a m1 . so how can i find interchange info? thanks

Yours is the 83 M1 Shaft Drive?
the engine cases are machined in pairs/ set, so you need upper and lower. Kawasaki says 84-F2 LTD Shaft and your bike is the only match, #14001-5147.
Shaft drive is not so common on the 550.
