engine trouble?

I just bought a 1984 kz750 last week. It is my second bike, my first being a 2009 ninja 250 which I still have. Anyways, the kz has about 67 000km on it, it has a new paint job, new tires, new fork seals and the carbs have just been done (according to the previous owner). I think I got a good deal on it but im not sure. It has some possible engine trouble and im just wondering what it is/how much it will cost to fix. here is a youtube clip so you can hear what it sounds like.

I'd get a manual cam chain tensioner to start with,new igniton coils & sparkplug wires(high tension leads) and check the valve shim clearances.

doesnt sound good.. is it worth keeping? i paid 1300 for it and dont really want to but a lot into it. should i just throw it back online and try to get something back from it?

At least shim the valves.....shouldn't cost you much

should this be work i should get done right away? can i go a little bit without getting it done? ive put 900km on the bike so far and just wondering if im doing too much damage by continuing to drive it
